All within a ‘stone’s throw’

World Oceans Day, 8 June, is a day to raise awareness of the importance of our oceans and take action to protect them.

It’s been all go out at Carmans Tunnel in the past week, as contractors operating on behalf of the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action have been carrying out works to secure the old mine.

While the vast majority of birds have the ability to perch, those in the order Passeriformes are especially adapted to do so.
